Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been an outstanding professor of psychology since 1993, and the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. Her name is well-known for her pioneering modern research of eyewitness accounts from children's memories and the use of child victimization in court. Professor Goodman is a prolific author who has received numerous awards and grants. She has been a consultant to numerous governments and agencies throughout the globe on policy as well as research on child victims in the legal system. She works as a Consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly known as Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 57). Professor. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and also the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the President of the American Psychological Association Divisions for Policy for Children and Families and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
